Care Instructions

CLEANING

This is high carbon steel a blade that demands respect. Hand wash it right after the use. We mean, the cut. Dry it before it goes back in its sheath. Moisture can only spoil this blade. And the dishwasher.

OILING

Your Xcutlery blade arrives pre oiled. Keep the ritual alive after every clean and dry, give the steel a light coat of oil. Use our mineral oil or any food safe oil you trust. A well oiled blade doesn't age. It sharpens with time.

SHARPENING

Straight out of the box, this thing is sharp and it'll stay that way for months. But legends maintain their edge. When it's time, run it across our whetstone and bring it back to razor perfect. A dull knife is just metal.
